Harford County Sheriff’s Office Engages Community Over Coffee

Bel Air, MD -The Harford County Sheriff’s Office recently connected with the community by hosting “Coffee with a Cop” at various Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout the county. This event took place over two days, concluding on Thursday with a focus on fostering relationships between law enforcement and the public.

The engagement initiative aimed to provide residents an opportunity to interact with law enforcement in a casual setting. On Wednesday, residents had the chance to speak with officers stationed at the participating Dunkin’ Donuts. The event was designed to encourage open dialogue in a relaxed environment.

In addition to the Dunkin’ Donuts meetings, the sheriff’s deputies also visited Brightview Assisted Living. There, they joined the residents and staff for breakfast and conversation. This outreach was part of the department’s initiative to engage with all sectors of the community, including senior citizens.

Photos from these interactions have been shared on the Harford County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. The sheriff’s office expressed gratitude to all participants and anticipation for future events that continue this community dialogue.
