Man Fatally Shot in Far Rockaway, Investigation Ongoing

FAR ROCKAWAY, N.Y. — A 59-year-old man was shot and killed inside a residence in Far Rockaway late Thursday night, according to police.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:13 p.m. on October 4 and arrived at 319 Beach 54th Street, within the 101st Precinct. Upon arrival, they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, unconscious and unresponsive.

Emergency Medical Services pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are continuing to search for any leads in the case.
