Stafford, VA- Two Stafford men faced felony charges after reportedly conspiring to rob a co-worker at gunpoint.

On September 23rd, around 9:13 p.m., Deputy W.E. Trainor was dispatched to Genesis Logistics at 705 Bradburn Place following reports of a robbery. The victim stated that he had been robbed at gunpoint of two pairs of shoes, valued over $2,000.

Deputy Trainor interviewed the victim, who had arranged to sell the shoes to a co-worker identified only as “Turbo.” After initially showing interest in buying the shoes, “Turbo” changed plans and arranged for someone else to purchase them. The second suspect threatened the victim with a firearm and demanded the shoes; however, the victim managed to record part of the incident, which assisted the investigation.

Deputy Trainor identified “Turbo” as 23-year-old Raquan Jones. Subsequently, Deputy X.D. Bates located Jones on Onville Road in an Uber and performed a traffic stop. Jones possessed two firearms, including one without a serial number, and had one pair of the stolen shoes.
