Police searching for three armed ‘Hispanic’ suspects near Hamilton

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A heavy police presence has been reported near Drosera Avenue and Leipzig Avenue as law enforcement officers search for three suspects believed to be armed, according to a statement from the Township of Hamilton Police Department.

The suspects, described as three Hispanic males dressed in dark clothing and wearing facemasks, fled on foot into a wooded area west of Drosera Avenue toward the FAA complex. Authorities are warning residents to lock their doors and remain indoors until further notice.

In addition to the search for the individuals, police are looking for a black minivan with temporary registration that may be connected to the incident. Residents who see anyone matching the suspects’ description are urged not to approach and to call 911 immediately.
