Winning Powerball Tickets Sold in Newburgh and Selden

Newburgh, N.Y. – Two lucky winners have struck it rich with third-prize Powerball tickets sold in Newburgh and Selden.

The New York Lottery announced today that each ticket is worth $50,000 from the October 5 Powerball drawing. One of the winning tickets was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Rd in Newburgh, while the other was purchased at ShopRite of Selden, located at 71 College Plaza in Selden.

Powerball winning numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
