Three suspects arrested in armed robbery at Red Roof Inn in Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — Three suspects were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a robbery at the Red Roof Inn on Ritchie Highway, where a 25-year-old man was assaulted by individuals armed with BB guns, police said.

The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. on October 8, when officers responded to a report of a robbery. According to authorities, three suspects entered the victim’s hotel room, assaulted him, and brandished BB guns. Responding officers quickly obtained descriptions of the suspects and their 2005 Cadillac Escalade through nearby security footage.

The suspects, identified as 24-year-old Elijah Marquise Brown of Halethorpe, 20-year-old Anthony Edward Taylor of Glen Burnie, and a 15-year-old juvenile, were located and taken into custody.

No information was released about the victim’s condition, and further details regarding the suspects’ charges have not been disclosed.
