Four Fugitives Wanted for Assaulting Man at Pro-Palestinian Protest in Union Square

Manhattan, NY — A 54-year-old man was assaulted during a Pro-Palestinian protest at Union Square Park on Monday, October 7, 2024. The incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. at 10 Union Square East, within the 13th Precinct.

According to the victim, he was attending the protest carrying an Israeli flag when a group of demonstrators attempted to seize the flag from him. During the altercation, an unidentified male wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans reportedly struck the victim in the face with a flagpole. An unidentified female, described as wearing a black hat, black sweater, red sweatpants, and red sunglasses, also allegedly struck the victim in the face with a tambourine.

Both assailants fled the scene on foot. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking information to identify the individuals involved.
