Three Arrested for Mushrooms, Heroin, and Cocain in Magnolia

Magnolia, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested Takeya Benson, 29, Samuel Horton, 24, and Clarence Sullivan, 33, all from Magnolia, Delaware. The arrests followed a search warrant executed this past Tuesday at a residence on Nascar Lane.

The Kent County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team executed the search warrant. It was obtained after investigating Benson and Horton in relation to narcotics distribution from the property. Six individuals were detained during the search, and officers observed Sullivan attempting to discard drugs out of a window.

Inside the property and vehicles, authorities discovered approximately 182.46 grams of crack cocaine, 72.04 grams of cocaine, 88.65 grams of heroin, and 75.76 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. They also found 3 Oxycodone pills, $1,182 in suspected drug proceeds, drug paraphernalia, and digital scales.

Two of the six detained individuals were arrested for misdemeanor offenses, while one was released without charges.
