Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Monroeville

Monroeville, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal accident in Monroeville. Authorities were notified at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday when a vehicle struck a pedestrian on the 4000 block of William Penn Highway.

First responders discovered an adult male victim in critical condition, who was subsequently taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene, and detectives are spearheading the investigation.
