Suspect in Violent Outburst with Metal Pipe Caught on Camera in D.C.

Washington, DC – A suspect is being sought in connection with an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon incident that occurred in Northwest, Washington, DC.

On October 7, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers from the Second District responded to reports of damage to property in the 1200 block of New York Avenue, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect had damaged property at the establishment and attempted to strike staff with a metal pipe.

The suspect was captured on surveillance camera footage, which may aid in the investigation.

Metro Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
