Two men found stabbed to death in Bronx apartment early Sunday morning

BRONX, N.Y. — Two men were killed in a stabbing early Sunday morning at a residence on Stratford Avenue, police said. Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 4:51 a.m. and found the victims, both suffering from stab wounds, at 1215 Stratford Avenue in the 43rd Precinct.

A 27-year-old man, identified as Leider Guevara-Cubas, had been stabbed in the chest. A 24-year-old man, identified as Ernesto Hector Guevara, sustained a stab wound to the abdomen. Both men, from the Bronx, were transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where they were pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police. Authorities have not released further details on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
