Four Men Charged in Connection with Armed Robbery

Hamilton Township, NJ — Four men from Philadelphia have been charged with multiple offenses following an armed robbery in Hamilton Township. Dioanny Mejia, 26, Gianmarcos Lopez, 21, Haniel Gabriel, 28, and Jose Castillo-Pena, 23, face charges of robbery, conspiracy, unlawful possession of weapons, aggravated assault, burglary, and criminal coercion. Additionally, Lopez and Gabriel were charged with being certain persons not to have weapons.

The incident took place on Monday around 12:48 p.m. at a residence on the 4500 Block of Drosera Street in Mays Landing. Three armed men entered the home, assaulted a resident, and stole items before fleeing on foot. The suspects were later identified as Mejia, Lopez, and Gabriel, with Castillo-Pena being implicated as well.

Authorities soon located Mejia and Castillo-Pena, who were apprehended with assistance from the FBI and Philadelphia Police Department. Gabriel and Lopez were later taken into custody by the Oklahoma City Police Department. All four men are currently held in police custody.
