Police Attend Active Shooter Table-Top Training

South Hackensack, NJ – On Friday, the South Hackensack Police Department coordinated an Active Shooter tabletop exercise. The initiative included participation from members of the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Fire Department, Memorial School, DPW, and Township Administration.

The purpose of this exercise was to ensure effective emergency response strategies. It also aimed to maintain the ongoing safety of the South Hackensack community.

The training session was led by Barry Leventhal, the Operations and Training Officer from the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management. His involvement was recognized as a key contribution to the success of the exercise.
