Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Roxbury

Boston, MA – Police officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) apprehended Pedro Sanchez, 43, of Mattapan, on assault and battery charges around 12:42 PM on Tuesday, October 15.

Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing at 209 Humboldt Avenue. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with a stab wound who was then transported by Boston EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, officers conducted an investigation and obtained a description of the suspect seen fleeing the area in a vehicle. Shortly after, they spotted a person matching the suspect’s description returning to the scene and subsequently arrested him.

Pedro Sanchez is charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
