Child Injured in Shooting Scare in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. – A child was taken to the hospital after a reported shooting on Wednesday.

The Prince George’s County Police Department received a call about the incident on October 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of Saint Barnabas Road.

Upon arrival, officers found no evidence of a shooting but did locate a vehicle with a shattered window. According to police, a young child was injured by the broken glass and transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
