Kamala Harris: Team of Lawyers Ready to Go if I Lose Election

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris stated that legal teams are prepared to address potential disputes on election night, indicating a readiness to contest results if necessary. In an interview, Harris emphasized the campaign’s focus on the final weeks leading up to the election while also acknowledging preparations for post-election legal challenges.

“We’ve got two weeks to go, and I’m very much grounded in the present in terms of the task at hand,” Harris said. “We will deal with election night and the days after as they come, and we have the resources and the expertise and the focus on that as well.”

When asked directly if legal teams are in place to contest results, Harris confirmed the campaign’s readiness. “You have teams ready to go. Is that what you’re saying? Are you thinking about that as a possibility?” the interviewer asked. Harris responded, “Of course.”
