PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A month after a deadly shooting in Oxon Hill, authorities have arrested a suspect linked to the killing of one man and the injury of another in a parking lot on Indian Head Highway.

The Prince George’s County Police identified 33-year-old Frederick Stevenson, of Washington, D.C., as the alleged gunman behind the September 27 shooting. Police say Stevenson shot and killed 30-year-old Daryl McCall, of District Heights, during a dispute and wounded a second man, who survived his injuries.

Stevenson was tracked down and arrested in D.C. by the PGPD Fugitive Unit, with help from the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Taskforce and the Metropolitan Police Department. He is currently in D.C. awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County, where he faces charges of first and second-degree murder, along with other related offenses.

Authorities believe the men were known to each other, and the shooting stemmed from an argument.
