MASSILLON, Ohio — A lucky lottery player in Massillon is celebrating after winning $1 million on the Billion scratch-off ticket, the Ohio Lottery announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #3628, located at 3601 Lincoln Way E. The winner opted for the cash payout of $500,000. After federal and state taxes totaling 28%, the player will take home approximately $360,000.
Billion is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. As of October 24, 2024, three top prizes remain in the game.
