Stafford County Sheriff’s Office investigates multiple vehicle larcenies in England Run subdivision

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of larcenies from vehicles in the England Run subdivision, where several incidents were reported early on the morning of October 24. Deputies responded to numerous calls from residents on Leamington Road and Verona Court, where items including wallets, laptops, and ammunition were taken from unlocked vehicles.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, surveillance footage from residents’ cameras revealed that four to five suspects were involved in the thefts around 3:30 a.m. The suspects were described as black males, possibly juveniles, wearing all black clothing and ski masks. Some stolen personal items were recovered during the investigation, but several remain missing.

Authorities are urging anyone with additional information or camera footage related to the larcenies to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

The department also reminded residents to secure their vehicles and remove any valuables as part of a nightly routine to help prevent similar incidents.
