Man critically injured in Vine Street shooting, police investigating

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest on Friday afternoon in an AutoZone parking lot in West Philadelphia. The shooting occurred around 3:35 p.m. on the 5600 block of Vine Street, according to police.

Responding officers found the victim with a single gunshot wound and transported him to Lankenau Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities have not recovered a weapon, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

The Philadelphia Police Department has secured the scene but is actively seeking information from the public as they continue to investigate.
