New Jersey Oyster Festival Celebrates Local Flavors with Food, Fun, and Competitions

PORT NORRIS, NJ – On Saturday, October 26, oyster lovers and food enthusiasts will gather at 2800 High Street for the New Jersey Oyster Festival, running from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The festival will feature local oyster purveyors showcasing their finest selections, offering guests the chance to taste and vote for their favorite in the People’s Choice Award.

Beyond oysters, the event will also include local food trucks catering to a variety of tastes. Attendees can enjoy activities such as a Shucking Contest, as well as explore vendors, brewing companies, and wine options. Special speakers and a silent auction will round out the day’s lineup. The $50 ticket price includes a commemorative wine or beer glass, plus a sampling of oysters, ensuring a memorable experience for festival-goers.

With its blend of fresh seafood, local vendors, and lively competitions, the New Jersey Oyster Festival offers a celebration of the region’s culinary culture in the heart of Port Norris.
