Spooky Strides for Strength: 5K and Walk to Support Domestic Violence Awareness

WEST ORANGE, NJ – On Sunday, October 27, South Mountain Reservation will host the Spooky Strides for Strength: 5K & Walk Against Domestic Violence, offering participants a chance to support an important cause while celebrating Halloween. The event, set at The Clipper Pavilion on Cherry Lane, will take place rain or shine, with proceeds benefiting the Passaic County Domestic and Sexual Violence Center.

Participants are encouraged to wear their spookiest costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere. The day kicks off with registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K run at 8:45 a.m. For younger participants, the Scary Scurry Kid’s Run begins at 10:00 a.m., and the Walk follows at 10:30 a.m. With a registration fee of $30, Spooky Strides offers a memorable way to stay active, show community support, and raise awareness for domestic violence prevention in Passaic County.
