BUFFALO, N.Y. — The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the Oct. 25 TAKE 5 evening drawing was sold in Buffalo, earning the ticket holder $36,388.50.

The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 1329 Abbott Road, according to lottery officials. TAKE 5, a popular daily draw game, selects winning numbers from a field of 1 through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The New York Lottery encourages winners to check their tickets promptly, but players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim any prize amount.

This latest win in Buffalo adds to a series of recent high-value prizes across the state as New Yorkers continue to try their luck in daily lottery games.
