HAZLETON, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $1 million was sold in Luzerne County for the October 25 drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.

The jackpot-winning ticket, purchased at Food Express located at 1003 North Vine Street in Hazleton, matched all five winning numbers — 2, 8, 11, 13, and 33. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

The identity of the winner remains unknown until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated, the Pennsylvania Lottery stated. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize for the main Cash 5 game and one year from the purchase date for any Quick Cash prizes.

In addition to the jackpot winner, over 30,800 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes in the same drawing. The Lottery encourages all players to check their tickets and visit a retailer to claim any lower-tier winnings.
