ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — A Baltimore City man is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting at another driver during a road rage incident on Maryland 295, Maryland State Police announced on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on October 27. Troopers responded to reports of a shooting on southbound Maryland 295, where a driver reported being fired upon during a dispute with another motorist. Police confirmed that the vehicle had been struck by gunfire, and crime scene technicians recovered a bullet from the scene.

Investigators later identified the suspect as 33-year-old Andre Williams of Baltimore City. A search of Williams’ vehicle and home led to the discovery of a loaded handgun, police said.

Williams was arrested at his home on Monday and charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and additional related offenses.
