Baltimore police arrest 20-year-old with gun at Latrobe Homes

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police arrested a 20-year-old man on a handgun violation Friday night after tracking him from Latrobe Homes to the 200 block of East Madison Street. Officers from the Central District Action Team were conducting an investigation around 8:49 p.m. on November 1 when they observed the suspect riding a dirtbike in the area.

With the help of the Foxtrot helicopter unit, officers were able to monitor the suspect’s movements before apprehending him on East Madison Street. Police reported that a loaded handgun was seized during the arrest.

The suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges related to the handgun violation. The Baltimore Police Department has not released the identity of the suspect as of yet, and the investigation remains ongoing.
