Shooting in Baltimore leaves teen injured

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 17-year-old boy is recovering in stable condition after being shot late Thursday night in Baltimore’s Central District. Patrol officers in the area of Eutaw and Saratoga Streets heard gunfire around 11:16 p.m. on October 31 and quickly began searching the vicinity.

Officers located the teenage victim in the 400 block of Saratoga Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics arrived and transported him to a local hospital, where he remains under medical care.

Investigators have since determined that the shooting took place in the 400 block of West Mulberry Street. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to reach out by calling 410-396-2411 or contacting Metro Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-866-7Lockup.

The investigation is ongoing.
