Allegheny County Police investigate shooting in Munhall

MUNHALL, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are investigating a shooting that took place Friday evening in Munhall, leaving a 24-year-old man injured. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of McClure Street around 8:49 p.m., according to authorities.

County 9-1-1 received a report of the shooting, prompting a response from first responders and the County Police General Investigations Unit. Officers arriving on the scene found the male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, along with multiple shell casings scattered on the ground nearby. The victim was transported by EMS in stable condition to a local hospital.

Detectives have begun an investigation into the shooting, but no further details regarding suspects or a possible motive have been released.
