Ohio Lottery player wins $50,000 on scratch-off in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A lucky lottery player in Columbus has won $50,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s popular $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off. The winning ticket was purchased at the Marathon gas station located at 1466 South Hamilton Road.

After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings of 28%, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.

The $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off, a $10 game, offers a top prize of $80,000 per year for 25 years, with three top prizes still available as of Nov. 4.
