58-year-old man found dead in Northeast Baltimore street after shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 58-year-old man was discovered dead with gunshot wounds in Northeast Baltimore early Sunday morning, prompting a homicide investigation.

The incident occurred on November 3, 2024, around 12:23 a.m., when Northeast District patrol officers responded to reports of a person lying in the street on the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the man with apparent gunshot wounds, and medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
