‘Kitty Cat’ wins $30K on FAST PLAY ticket thanks to friend’s advice

Man holding dollar bills roll, corruption payment, dirty money, financial fraud

CLEMENTS, Md. — A St. Mary’s County Lottery player, known affectionately as “Kitty Cat,” has claimed a $30,000 top prize on a FAST PLAY Prize Pyramid ticket, crediting a close friend’s tip for her lucky win.

A longtime fan of Lottery games, “Kitty Cat” says she took her friend’s advice to try FAST PLAY a few years ago, adding it to her lineup of favorite games. Since then, she’s enjoyed occasional small wins, but nothing like her recent $30,000 prize.

The Southern Maryland resident recalls the thrill of scanning her ticket and seeing the message “Visit Lottery” flash on the screen, signaling her big win. “I knew I won big,” she said, immediately calling family members to share the news.

Grateful for the timely prize, “Kitty Cat” plans to use the money to help with medical expenses, describing the win as coming at “a perfect time.”

She purchased the lucky ticket at St. Mary’s Gas Station on Colton Point Road in Clements, which will receive a $300 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
