Baltimore police investigating double shooting leaving one critically injured

BALTIMORE, MD — A man and woman were hospitalized after being wounded in a double shooting in Baltimore’s Eastern District on Wednesday morning, police said.

Patrol officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 10:43 a.m. on November 6 in the 1800 block of North Montford Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical teams transported both victims to area hospitals. Due to the critical condition of one of the victims, homicide detectives have been notified.
