STRONGSVILLE, OH — A lucky lottery player in Strongsville has claimed a $50,000 prize after playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off.

The winning ticket was purchased at Whitney Beverage and Deli, located at 9080 Pearl Road. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings of 28 percent, the player will take home approximately $36,000.

The 50th Anniversary scratch-off is a $50 ticket with a top prize of $600,000 per year for 25 years. As of November 7, two top prizes remain available in the game.
