Off-duty NYPD employee arrested on assault and criminal mischief charges

NEW YORK — An off-duty New York City Police Department employee was arrested early Sunday morning in Queens, according to police reports.

Kennie Morales, a 27-year-old NYPD community assistant, was taken into custody at 3:22 a.m. on November 10 within the jurisdiction of the 113th Precinct. Morales faces multiple charges, including criminal mischief in the third degree, menacing in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree.
