TRENTON, NJ— Two New Jersey Lottery players won more than $1 million each over the weekend, one from a Powerball ticket and the other from a Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.

On Saturday, a ticket purchased at the Quick Stop at 886 W. Bay Ave. in Barnegat won $1 million in the Powerball drawing. Two additional players, from Bergen and Somerset counties, each claimed $50,000 prizes. No one claimed the top Powerball jackpot, which has now risen to $103 million ahead of Monday night’s drawing.

The following day, a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $1,302,942 was sold at New Bergen Liquor, located at 230 Kearny Ave. in Kearny, Hudson County. The winning numbers for the Sunday drawing were 01, 05, 24, 33, and 43, with a Bullseye of 24 and an Extra of 02. The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $165,000 for Tuesday night’s draw.

The New Jersey Lottery encourages players to check their tickets and claim prizes as soon as possible. Winning numbers are posted on the Lottery’s website and at retail locations across the state.
