Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Investigation Underway in Temple Hills

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is looking into a pedestrian hit-and-run accident that resulted in a fatality on Saturday night. The investigation aims to identify the victim, an adult female, to inform her family.

Police were called to the scene on the 4400 block of Saint Barnabas Road on Saturday at 8:50 p.m. They discovered the victim, who had suffered trauma, on the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver who struck the victim was traveling northbound on Saint Barnabas Road near Leisure Drive. The driver did not remain at the scene after the incident.
