Myrtle Beach police investigate Shavis Court shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Wednesday night in the area of Shavis Court, officials said.

At approximately 9:43 p.m. on November 20, a shooting victim arrived at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center, prompting officers to begin an investigation. Authorities determined that the incident occurred in the 1400 block of Shavis Court.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment, and their condition has not been disclosed. Law enforcement has increased its presence in the area as detectives work to gather evidence and identify any potential suspects.
