$100K Buckeye Cash scratch-off ticket sold in Hartville

HARTVILLE, OH — A lucky lottery player in Hartville is celebrating a $100,000 win after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Buckeye Cash scratch-off, officials announced Friday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz #529, located at 1280 W Maple Street. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $72,000.

Buckeye Cash is a $5 scratch-off game featuring a top prize of $100,000. As of Friday, only one top prize remains unclaimed in the game.

The Ohio Lottery continues to support public education in the state, contributing more than $32 billion to schools since its inception in 1974.
