Winning lottery ticket sold in Beacon

BEACON, NY — A Take 5 Evening top-prize ticket worth $31,707 was sold in Beacon for the November 21 drawing, the New York Lottery announced Thursday.

The winning ticket was purchased at All In One Foodmart, located at 1020 Wolcott Avenue in Beacon. The lucky player matched all five numbers drawn to secure the game’s top prize.

Take 5 numbers are drawn twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

Lottery officials encourage the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket and contact the New York Lottery to begin the prize claim process.
