Masked assailants attack teen in Felton robbery, police seek information

FELTON, Del. — A 17-year-old male was the victim of a strong-arm robbery outside a Shore Stop convenience store on South Dupont Highway Thursday afternoon, according to Delaware State Police.

The robbery occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m., when the teenager was approached in the store’s parking lot by three masked men. The suspects attacked the victim and stole his belongings before fleeing the scene in an unidentified vehicle.

Authorities said the teenager was not injured during the incident. Police have not disclosed the type or value of the stolen property.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation and is actively seeking leads. Detective T. Ford has urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward by calling (302) 698-8569.
