HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Mays Landing man was arrested Wednesday following a police raid that uncovered over 12 ounces of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs at his residence, authorities said.

Thomas Collet, 54, was taken into custody after the Township of Hamilton Police Department, with assistance from the Atlantic County SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at his home. Along with the methamphetamine, officers seized additional controlled dangerous substances, items related to drug distribution, and ammunition.

Collet faces multiple charges, including maintaining a drug production facility, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Following his arrest, Collet was processed and lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Police say the investigation was part of their ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activity in the area.

“This arrest highlights our ongoing commitment to protecting our community by aggressively targeting illegal drug activity,” the Township of Hamilton Police Department said in a statement, thanking the Atlantic County SWAT Team for its assistance in the operation.
