Lost dog found in Green Creek; police seek owner

GREEN CREEK, N.J. — Police in Middle Township are seeking the public’s help in locating the owner of a dog found near 363 Route 47 South in Green Creek.

The male dog, estimated to be about six months old, was described by authorities as “very friendly.” Officers discovered the animal earlier this week and have since been working to reunite him with his owner.

The Middle Township Police Department posted details about the dog on social media, along with a photo, in hopes of generating leads.

Anyone with information about the dog’s owner is urged to contact the department at 609-465-8700.

Authorities are asking for assistance to ensure the dog is safely returned home.
