Ocean County woman arrested for weapons and threats charges

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Jacqueline Armenia, 45, was arrested on December 1, 2024, and faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and making violent threats, according to inmate records.

Armenia, who also goes by the alias “Jackie Cruz,” is charged with two counts of threatening violence under New Jersey law, as well as unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Records indicate the weapons involved were not firearms but categorized as “other” under the charges.

Armenia was booked without bail at the Ocean County Correctional Facility. Court documents show no detainers filed against her, and no projected release date has been set.

Authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances leading to her arrest.

The charges Armenia faces carry significant legal penalties, and she remains in custody pending court proceedings.
