27-year-old man fatally shot in Lanham, police offer $25K reward for information

LANHAM, MD — Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man in Lanham last Thursday.

The victim, identified as Armando Cousins-Stoute, who had no fixed address, was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the 7700 block of Annapolis Road, according to authorities. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. for a welfare check, where Cousins-Stoute was pronounced dead.

Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including a possible motive and suspect or suspects, police said in a statement.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. Officials are urging anyone with relevant details to contact a Homicide Unit detective at 301-516-2512.

As the investigation unfolds, police are appealing to the community for assistance in resolving the case.
