Early morning stabbing in D.C. sparks manhunt for suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed early Friday morning in Northwest D.C., sparking a search for the suspect seen on surveillance footage.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of 15th Street, Northwest, at approximately 1:40 a.m. following a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police found an adult male suffering from a stab wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

An image of the suspect, captured by nearby surveillance cameras, has been released by investigators. Police have not provided further details about the victim’s condition or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
