Man stabbed in broad daylight on 73rd Street, suspects flee scene

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the torso Saturday afternoon by two unidentified males in front of 244 73rd Street, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. when the victim was approached by the two suspects, who attacked him with cutting instruments. After the assault, the suspects fled the scene on foot, heading toward 3rd Avenue and 72nd Street.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, where he was treated and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police have not released descriptions of the suspects and are continuing their investigation into the attack.

The motive for the stabbing remains unclear, and no arrests have been made as of Wednesday.
