Man shot in Bronx, suspect at large

BRONX, N.Y. — A 33-year-old man was shot in the left arm by an unidentified assailant on Saturday evening in front of 358 East 149th Street, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m., according to police. The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, entering 300 East 158th Street, police said. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The motive for the shooting has not been disclosed, and no description of the suspect has been released.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.

The shooting marks another troubling act of violence as police work to address safety concerns in the area.
