NEW YORK, N.Y. — A 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed and an 18-year-old man wounded in an attack Thursday evening in Lower Manhattan, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call about an assault at 17 John Street at approximately 7:39 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Yeremi Colino, 17, of East 45th Street in Manhattan, with a stab wound to the chest, and an 18-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the left arm.

Both victims were transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where Colino was pronounced dead. The 18-year-old is listed in stable condition.
