TIFFIN, Ohio — A Tiffin resident recently scratched his way to a $100,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s Holiday Lucky Times 10 scratch-off game, officials announced.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Pit Stop #1 on North Washington Street. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings of 28 percent, the winner, identified as Gilbert, will take home approximately $72,000.

Holiday Lucky Times 10 is a $5 scratch-off game with a $100,000 top prize. As of December 5, two of the game’s top prizes remain unclaimed, according to the Ohio Lottery.

The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed more than $32 billion to education since its inception in 1974, encourages players to check their tickets carefully and explore other prize opportunities.
