MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A motor vehicle accident has forced the closure of Route 47 between Goshen Swainton Road and Court House Dennis Road, according to Middle Township Police.

The crash resulted in wires crossing the roadway, creating a hazard that prompted authorities to shut down the area for public safety.

Police have not provided an estimate on when the road will reopen as utility crews work to address the issue.
